Ekoty - Interface(UI) Design, Branding, Merchandise & Social Media Imagery

As a brand and UX/UI designer, I was challenged to address the critical issue of water shortage in Curitiba and its metropolitan area and to find a way to raise awareness among the community about their water consumption habits.

The solution I proposed was an app that educates and motivates users to save water through gamification. The app presents real-time data on the user’s water consumption and the regional water reserves, creating a personal connection to the issue and encouraging water conservation. By using the app and completing water-saving challenges, users can earn rewards, including virtual coins (Capys) and achievements (trophies), which can be redeemed for merchandise featuring the app’s eco-friendly character.

This project showcases my ability to combine design thinking, technical expertise, and environmental consciousness to create a solution that addresses the pressing issue of water shortage. Using Figma, I was able to bring my vision for an app that educates and motivates users to conserve water to life, by presenting real-time data on water consumption and the regional water reserves and incorporating gamification to encourage positive behavior change.
